Yes, yes, we all know Niece has more talent than the other children. The problem is that if she were the Little Red Hen, it might be a bit, well, showy. We don't want all the other kiddies to know they lack Niece's talent, beauty, and maturity. Having Niece as Little red hen would surely lower the self esteem of the rest of the class and we cannot have that.
